We also developed the Bus Ticket Reservation System using PHP and MySQL. This is a web-based project that runs on the Internet. The passenger is buying a ticket for this project and is paying for it online. Bus Ticketing System project includes information on bus routes, seat records, billing details, ticket information, cancelation of seats, etc.

The new system is not user-friendly and all passenger information must be entered by the user manually. It’s taking a lot of time and a lot of confusion. Also in the current system, travelers must visit the ticket counter to book a ticket. This is not user-friendly.
Passengers can search the bus details by going to and from the venue. After that, he will select the date of departure, the number of passengers, the type of bus, and the type of seat. The machine can scan the database. Several busses will be seen after scanning the device. The Passenger must set up an account on the website to book a ticket. Passengers book tickets after payment has been made. Passenger registration is required to make a reservation for a ticket. The Supervisor shall review the weekly report, the monthly report, etc. The entire source code of the project is uploaded here. A bucket is a database archive.
Functions of this project:
- User-friendly ticket booking option-Details of the bus, bus line, price list, drivers, and personnel details are stored in the admin row.
The details on busses and their seating are stored and can be updated regularly in the admin panel.
- Login and book services open to travelers. Passengers must file at least once.
- Edit Password, Connect Users, View User Features are available for admin.
- It will produce a short report
- The calculation part and the billing part are very reliable and efficient.

Note: The device operates on every platform. Install XAMPP or another application to try this project. In the script, you need to change the configuration details of the database. It has been created using PHP core and is very easy to edit.
