HOSTEL MANAGEMENT SYSTEM IN PHP
A framework for managing the various activities in the hostel is the Hostel Management System. It is used for managing the hostel’s data. This manages student numbers, space data, room allocation records, fee details, bill mess details, and hostel staff details. It is also used to generate information for students, fee specifics, and payment details for students. It keeps track of the number of students in the class and the room’s availability. It helps to coordinate the manual labor from which the student record and the student bills will be very difficult to find.
Scope:
To monitor hostel awareness in the organization, the Hostel Management System is used. It is used to improve the clerical facilities of all hostel students. The app will assist users to search the mess bills for each student and the hostel fees for the student. The main feature of this project is the quick allocation of student hostel spaces, as well as the fast generation of all-accurate mess bills.

Modules:
- User module: This just requires the administrator and the visitor to log into the home page if the username and password fit.
- Change password module: This allows the password to be changed by the recipient.
- Student Module:-To store student knowledge, this module is used. It contains the details below: i.e. Student Profile stats, email numbers, specifics of school, etc. The student database will be searched by users according to different criteria, such as name, course, room number, etc.
- Space allocation module:-According to the details of the student’s school, portion, of course, this module will allocate the student space. The room will be allocated to the student and the student’s ID will be established. The specifics of the students staying in the halls are also revealed. Finally, his details, like the left date, will still be preserved when the student leaves the room.
- Room Fees Module:-This module presents records of room fees. You can receive the status of student fees and balance status here. The overhaul of student room rentals every semester was also included in this module.
- Mess Module:-This module keeps track of all transactions connected to the mess. For each student in the hostel, the expense of the mess item is measured for each month and each student’s mess bill is determined and displayed.
- Visitor Module:-Allows data to be inserted by the visitor. Even being allowed to reach the visitor according to varying requirements for the search.
- Report generation module:-To see summary details of hostel charges and mess bills, report generation is also issued. Hostel fees and changes to the Mess Inventory are expected. By entering their Special Hostel ID, students can check hostel fees and bill chaos.
- Module Settings:-This program can only be regulated by the customer. For frequent users, the controller has a special account with certain unique privilege permissions. Administrators can add, edit or remove Warden and Employee Records, Building and Block Information, Room Information, Course Details, etc. from this module.
